This year it was quiet hard to stop Jenson Button and Brawn GP at the racing track. However, the web has its own rules. Motorsport-Magazin.com encouraged its readers to vote for the best website of the active Formula 1 drivers- and the winner is: Nickheidfeld.com !

In three preliminary rounds, in each case, 2 websites established itself and competed with each other in the final round. Nickheidfeld.com came clearly ahead by 48% of the readers’ votes over the official website of Kimi Räikkönen; the sites of Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Felipe Massa and Nico Rosberg ended up far behind on the 3rd to the 6th position.

„Once I was also a fan and so I can understand how close you would like to get to the Formula 1”, Nick betrays. „That’s why I set up a blog on my website, when it didn’t work so well at a race. It’s nice to enjoy great popularity because of the website and to read the statements, in which the fans congratulates or encourage me. For that reason I want to say thank you to everybody who joined in so numerously!”

In January Nick’s website had been revised completely, since then the site informs its fans with over 250 news, video contributions, blogs and picture galleries. „I wanted to be a strong influence”, Nick explains. “At the beginning it was a lot of work to pull all together, but I am well pleased with the result and I would like to continue that in the next year.”
